Device & App Settings

Changes take effect immediately and persist across restarts. Thresholds affect status labels in the admin UI only.

Test Mode

Test mode enabled

When on, all incoming alerts and check-ins are marked as test activity. Does not suppress SMS unless "Suppress SMS in test mode" is also enabled.

Suppress SMS in test mode

Only takes effect when Test mode is also enabled. SMS will not be sent for device alerts. Off by default — enable deliberately for bench testing.

Status Thresholds

Stale after (minutes)

A device is shown as "stale" after this many minutes without a check-in. Default: 15.

Offline after (minutes)

A device is shown as "offline" after this many minutes without a check-in. Default: 60.

Expected check-in interval (minutes)

How often the device is expected to check in. Used for display only.

Alert Behaviour

Alert dedupe window (seconds)

Duplicate alerts from the same device within this window are suppressed. Default: 600 (10 minutes).

Alert message prefix

Optional text prepended to outgoing SMS bodies. Reserved for future use — not yet applied to messages.

Device Control

Desired device action

Returned to the device on every check-in and successful alert response. Change to "disarm" during maintenance, travel, or bench testing to prevent live alerts. Default: continue.
